Once upon a time, there was a very hungry fox. He was searching everywhere for something to eat. But no matter how hard he looked, he couldn’t find any food.
Then, the fox stumbled upon a wall that belonged to a farmer. On top of the wall, he saw the most delicious-looking grapes. They were a beautiful purple color, which meant they were ripe and ready to be eaten.
To get to the grapes, the fox had to jump really high. He tried to catch them with his mouth, but he missed. He tried again, but still couldn’t reach them.
The fox tried a few more times, but each time he failed.
Feeling defeated, the fox decided to give up and go home. As he walked away, he grumbled to himself, “Those grapes were probably sour anyway.”
The lesson we can learn from this story is that we shouldn’t look down on things just because we can’t have them. Sometimes, we have to work hard for what we want.
