Once upon a time, in the deep sea, there was a Sea King who lived in a fancy coral palace. He had six wonderful mermaid daughters, but the youngest princess was a bit different. She never smiled, unlike her happy sisters who were always full of joy.

This little mermaid loved exploring the world above the sea. She would swim up to catch a glimpse of the blue sky and green trees in the distance, thinking it would make her happier than anything in the sea. She collected all sorts of pretty fish and shells, but nothing could satisfy her curiosity. Even her father’s stories couldn’t make her smile.

One stormy night, the little mermaid secretly swam up to the surface. There, she spotted a ship in trouble with a young man onboard. She quickly rescued him and brought him safely to the shore. Love filled her heart, but he was fast asleep and didn’t know who had saved him.

Determined to see him again, the little mermaid sought help from the Witches of the Seashore. She asked to become a human so she could walk and dance on land like them. The witch agreed, but there was a catch – the little mermaid had to give up her voice and couldn’t speak or sing anymore.

The little mermaid agreed to the witch’s condition and transformed into a human. She made her way to the royal palace, where the prince was having a fancy ball. The palace guards didn’t recognize her, so she had to prove herself by dancing. And boy, did she dance! Everyone was amazed by her beauty and grace.

The prince was also captivated by her dance but didn’t recognize her as the one who had saved him. The king then announced that the prince would marry a beautiful princess from another kingdom. Heartbroken, the little mermaid ran away from the palace. She often returned to the spot where she had first seen the prince, longing for his love.

So, my young friends, the little mermaid followed her heart and tried to make her dreams come true. But sometimes, things don’t go as planned. She didn’t lose hope and continued to visit the prince, hoping that one day he would remember her and they could live happily ever after.
